Solve That Problem
“Failing” or not making it the first time is part of solving a problem. We are not defeated or beat because we tried and failed. Thomas Edison, the inventor of the LIGHTBULB once said, ‘I have not failed. I’ve found 10,000 ways that won’t work!’ We don’t need to be afraid of failure, we can see it as just another try. Let’s think about the value of perseverance in the face of problems.
Try this:
Think to yourself, what problem do I have right now. Have you tried to figure out this problem before?
As a class, group or family watch the following video:
Sesame Street: Bruno Mars: Don't Give Up (1:58)
Ask yourself, there is no wrong answer:
Think of a time when you solved a problem because you didn’t give up? How did you do it? Who was there and how did they help you?
